The Fabless Semiconductor Association
(FSA), the global voice of fabless and fab-lite semiconductor
companies and their foundry and supply chain partners,
identified Taiwan as the best location of their Asia-Pacific
Headquarters and held a press conference and VIP dinner
to announce the first initiative in Asia-Pacific.
The press conference was hosted by Jodi Shelton, executive
director of FSA, and numerous VIPs including Premier
Yu Shyi-kun, Ying-jeou Ma, Mayor of Taipei, Willem Roelandts,
CEO of Xilinx, Dwight Decker, CEO of Conexant System,
Sanjay Jha, president of Qualcomm CDMA Technologies,
and Robert Tsao, chairman of UMC, etc. all showed up
to give their congratulations to FSA Asia.
86 journalists attended the press conference and 107
clippings were collected in total. Not matter the members
of FSA or media all gave highly appreciations to Era
for the successful result.
