Since 1991, FEIB (Far Eastern International
Bank) has offered excellent customer service, showing
heart-warming commitment to its loyal clients. In 2003,
FEIB sponsored “Old Friends’ Nostalgic Train
Concert” by a well-known 70’s female singer,
Jenny Zhen’s, to express their gratitude towards
its clients. Selected clients were invited as the bank’s
friends to share the precious moment in the festivity.
FEIB arranged a media luncheon to express the importance
and value FEIB places on each client. Thus, FEIB invited
three VIP clients to share their stories of relationship
with FEIB. During the luncheon, Mr. Eli Hong, the president
of FEIB, also announced the bank’s vision and
plans to expand future customer services in order to
pay tribute to their loyal clients that they have promised
to serve.
In view of the past experience, Era has succeeded in
softening the stiff corporate image of a financial institute
in this case. Era’s heart-throbbing and creative
campaign generated a warm impression, attesting to media’s
approval and the campaign’s effectiveness. The
concert was a unique campaign that successfully promoted
the value FEIB places on loyal customers, and the media
gathering engaged the media to take a close look at
how FEIB maintains its relationship with clients. A
total of 21 reporters attended, including a handful
from TV. Thirteen news clippings from print, online
and TV media demonstrated the success of the press event.
