Description:

After IBM and Dell entered the crowded printer market, the competition is becoming much more intensive than ever. As a leading brand in the printer market, Not only does EPSON need to aggressively seize more market share with its products and competitive advantages, but also win the media’s mind share through sharing its corporate visions and strategies and achievement in their three target image markets – printer, projector, and display products.

As a result, EPSON and Era Public Relations hosted “EPSON Business & Technology Forum” in Suzhou China. In this three-day media tour program, EPSON elaborated its competitive advantages, its global operation strategies, and its product roadmap. The forum was also a good opportunity to help executives communicate with press friends more interactively and closely.

The program is comprised of a welcome party, four seminars, three executive interviews, and a gala dinner. Participating press members learned detailed information about EPSON’s corporate history, latest achievement, and corporate visions. The visit to EPSON Suzhou LCD manufacturing facility was also inspiring as press members could witness EPSON’s leading display technology and further understood EPSON’s achievement in China. A local tour to “Humble Administrator’s Garden”, one of the four most beautiful gardens in China, was something that really impressed the press member. Along with the garden tour, the photo contest named “Images of Suzhou” allowed the press members to take some photo shots and described the most elegant part of Suzhou in their mind through the leading printing technology from EPSON.

Nearly 100 Participating press members from 11 Asia Pacific regions (including China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippine, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam) generated over 350 clips from this regional media event.
