By launching GeForce 6600, NVIDIA has brought flagship product GeForce 6800’s innovate features into mainstream market. With this excitement, GeForce 6600 is also regarded as “the GPU” for id Software’s new sizzling game “Doom 3.” To make the gamers faint, NVIDIA has also made the new GeForce 6600 SLI-ready, a new multi-GPU processing technology which can increase up to 2X graphics performance by using two identical cards on one single system.

 

To reflect the insights above and the strength of the product, Era not only sticks to NVIDIA’s corporate image by sustaining the use of Nalu to emphasize GeForce 6600’s shared features and benefits of GeForce 6800. To illustrate the idea behind SLI, Era brainstormed the idea by using “twins” as a metaphor to present “double” performance behind SLI. To best present the exhilaration of Doom 3 and GeForce 6600’s blasting fast processing speed and real-time shadow processing performance, Era has invited 2 top Doom gamers to demonstrate classically frightening scenes on Doom3. Era also invited journalists to perform a death match on stage.

 

Though the launch scale is second tier, with the new product’s charms, the launch still attracted 66 journalists, 60 partners, and 12 gamers with a total outcome of 139 attendees. Without exclusive interviews for dailies, GeForce 6600 still received 19 pieces of clippings the next day, with more to come. The success of the press conference is shown and proven from the client’s and partners’ recognition.
