Era Public Relations Renamed Era Ogilvy New Brand, New Positioning, and a New Start

Taipei, Taiwan, September 1 – The former Era Public Relations today announced that the agency’s name has officially been changed to “Era Ogilvy.” The new company name and corporate identity aim to communicate two objectives - one is to collaborate more closely with other brands within the Ogilvy group, to fully integrate with Ogilvy’s globally-renowned 360 degree branding; and the other is to expand the existing service in technology communications to broader and more comprehensive service offerings.

“Era Public Relations has been a market leader in IT communications since established in 1992. The rename will help us reposition our company brand and explore new practices in addition to our existing strength and expertise in technology communications. The new services areas include brand management, Consumer PR, Financial Communications, Digital Influence, CSR, and Employee Communications, as well as Channel Communications. We are committed to riding on the trends and to meeting our clients’ expectations,” said Olive Ting, Chairman of Era Ogilvy. “Under the guidance of 360 degree branding, Era Ogilvy will have the opportunities to collaborate with the advertising, digital and channel companies within Ogilvy group in Taiwan. And with the 360 branding synergy, there actually have been projects in progress aimed to help our clients best position their brands.”

There are approximately 50 employees at Era Ogilvy, and moving forward the agency will continue to attract talents with different backgrounds and expertise. In addition to offering high-value public relations services, there’s also an experienced Marcom team at Era Ogilvy, dedicated to coordinating seminars, exhibitions, and channel activities, and to providing non-media services such as VIP communications and employee communications. This comprehensive service portfolio will help Era Ogilvy continue to play a leadership role in the market.
